Every once in a while, it's nice to surprise your family with a meal that's a little fancier, but as always, straight from the heart. Now try something from the kitchen of Red Lemon Grill, a resto that's gaining a solid rep for sumptuous meals at reasonable prices. Red Lemon Grill is located inside View Park Hotel Tagaytay -- one of my favorite destinations south of the metro when I want to chillfar away from my pots, pans and laundry. For this hardworking stay-at-home mom who refuse to be labeled something as plain as "housewife" (hence my alias Domestic Diva), one of the joys in life is being able to recreate at home a dish that evokes fond memories of a relaxing vacation.

Hope you enjoy cooking Red Lemon Grill Resto's Pork Cordon Bleu at home (my kids literally licked their plates clean yay!).

Pork Cordon Bleu Recipe

Ingredients :

* 250 grams pork pige

* Aromat tsp.

* Calamansi 10 grams

* Pepper

* Ham 30 grams

* Paprika

* Tarragon

* Flour 30 grams

* Egg 1 piece

* Bread crumbs 60 grams

* Oil 3 cups

* Gravy sauce 15 grams

Garnishing:

* Noodle heart 5 grams

* Parsley 3 grams

Directions:

Slice 250 grams pork. Marinate aromat (Knorr Aromat Seasoning enhances the flavors of most foods), calamansi and pepper.

Using a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and paprika; set this breadcrumb mixture aside.

Using 2 sheets of wax paper or plastic wrap, pound each piece of pork to inch thick using a meat mallet.

Sprinkle flour, pepper, and tarragon on both sides of the pork pieces. Cover each piece with cheese slice and ham slice. Roll them up, dip into the pork broth and egg. Dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture. If necessary, insert toothpicks to keep from unrolling.

Preheat pan, then pour 3 cups of cooking oil, and deep fry.

Let the meat cook for 20 minutes or until the pork is cooked all the way through.

To make the noodle heart garnish, mix flour and water to make dough. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough. Form a heart shape and fry it.

Set your dish nicely on a plate garnished with the noodle heart and parsley.

Your Pork Cordon Bleu will taste even better with gravy. Use Knorr Demi Glace (gravy) available at your nearest grocery or supermarket. Aside from pork, this gravy works well with roast beef, steaks and veal.
