Dell Introduces Windows 8 Line Up

Dell has announced its line of Windows 8 PCs for customers and business customers

. Windows is set to launch towards the end of this month. The PC manufacturers have already announced systems that will come with Microsoft's new Operating System. Dell is among them who has announced that the Dell XPS 12 convertible laptops and the Dell XPS One 27 and Dell Inspiration. Complete 23 all-in one desktops are available for pre-order in the U.S on its website.

This convertible laptop was announced earlier at IFA in August which is not the first time Dell has dipped its toe into the waters of all the convertible devices. The latest XPS 12 is touted by the company as laptop and a tablet comes in one. Converting from laptop to tablet via a flip-hinge design with 12-inch system sporting a full HD display and pricing starts at $1,199.

The Dell XPS One 27 is actually not a system in Dell's lineup but it has updated the 27-inch all in one PC with a 10-finger capacitive touch screen to take benefit of Windows 8's touch functionality. Retaining its hinged-arm designs and high-resolution display. The pricing details for the system starts at $1,599.99 for the base configuration.

Dell says that it is providing a Windows 8 option for customers with current Inspirion and XPS system. This Windows option will be available for selecting latitude and OptiPlex models. Dell's both device, XPS 12 convertible laptop in one with detachable screen and flip-hinge design. Measuring 12-inch device sporting a full HD display and starts pricing at $1,199.

The latest XPS One 27 is a new version of its existing machine with touch-screen support and added to take benefit of Windows 8's interface retaining its hinged-arm factor and high-resolution which starts at $1,599.99.

This Dell Inspirion One 23 all-in-one desktop is highly powered by an Ivy Bridge CPU features a 23-inch touch-screen and a resolution of 1920x1080p in which pricing starts at $779.99 for the entry-level model.

The XPS 12 is known as 2 -in 1 device, a fully featured laptop that easily transforms into a touch-powered tablet. The unique flip hinge touchscreen screen switches from laptop to tablet mode with a simple flip. This smooth display covers the keyboard is completely in tablet mode safeguarding its from dirt and spills.The XPS 13 has several other specifications which includes an Ivy Bridge chipset powered up with two times faster than its previous generation XPS 13.
