Dell ensure Alienware M11x is the World's most Powerful 11-inch Laptop

Dell today blew the competition out of the water by making certain that their M11x is the most powerful 11-inch gaming laptop out there.

They have replaced the 1.3Ghz Core Duo processor with the new Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors and added NVIDIA Optimus technology which is sure to delight all diehard gaming enthusiast by providing the ultimate, high definition gaming experience whilst on the move.

As the need for mobile computing increases, Dell's General Manager Arthur Lewis said that the "Alienware M11x is the perfect go-anywhere laptop for people who want to play today's most popular and demanding games in high definition."

Intel's Turbo Boost technology can accelerate Core i5 and Core i7 performance when it is demanded and Intel confirm the Core i-series processors are up to 32 percent faster and have 15 percent less power consumption than the previous generation Core 2 Duo.

Furthermore, all the Alienware M11x processors are overclockable beyond the standard specification to maximize performance.

The mighty NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M provides 1GB fast HD graphics performance, faultlessly playing at 720p resolution. Built-in NVIDIA PhysX technology propels realistic game play on the M11x that shows every detail.

NVIDIA Optimus technology switches effortlessly from the integrated Intel HD Graphics Media Accelerator to GeForce GT 335M discrete graphics when extra performance is demanded.

"With the new Core i7 processor and high-performance discrete graphics that can kick in when needed, gamers can get a stunning visual experience and fast-action play wherever they are without sacrificing long battery life for less intensive activities." Lewis added.

The Alienware M11x is available in Lunar Shadow with Dell also adding a "Soft Touch Stealth Black" finish option for the M11x. This will most likely be a rubberised finish for extra durability. The distinctive Alienware AlienFX illuminated keyboard and laser engraved user nameplate will come as standard.
