They consist of two or more sheets of accordion-pleated, reinforced fabric bonded together and joined at the pleats to form compartments that trap air. Duette shades can be mounted inside or outside window frame and can be fitted to almost any shape window, including bay windows and semi-circles. They can even be used on sliding glass doors with a vertical pleating option. To make Duettes easy to open and close, a variety of lifting mechanisms are available. For ultimate convenience, Duettes are available with battery powered or electrical-powered remote/switch operation.
