From here you need to choose what options you want your CCTV to provide. First of all you will need to find one with a high enough resolution and frame rate to suit your purposes while remaining inside your budget. Again there are many LG CCTV cameras that will provide good quality on both counts and this will give you the clearest view of what is going on. Many digital cameras also provide a range of additional features such as motion sensors or video analysis. Here motion sensors for example will allow you to leave your camera on all night and then come back to review the footage without having to trawl through 14 hours worth. Similarly using video analysis your system will be able to spot more specific things such as human faces which means your camera won't go off every time that a leaf blows past or a cat gets in front of the camera. This then allows another feature to work more effectively on some cameras which is to build in a phoneline so that the camera can call the user and inform them of the break in and even transmit audio.

The better system yet is to use IP CCTV which stands for Internet Protocol CCTV and allows you to transmit live video footage so that you can watch your surveillance cameras from anywhere around the world. This also allows you to check the cameras when you are alerted to movement to see if it is worth heading down.

The sheer amount of CCTV systems on offer means that you need to look at your budget and the needs of your property and then select the various options and benefits you need.
