Designing your own house can be a lot of fun to do and very worthwhile in the end, but it is very time consuming and you have to be very tolerant. It would be faster to have someone help you plan out your home, but it would not be as personal and you would have some boundaries set that you might have wanted to avoid. By designing your home on your own, it gives you the ability to be much more imaginative and open with your design. Then when the final product is built, you will be satisfied with everything that you have produced!
