It is quite natural for novice investors to often have extremely high expectations from their investment ventures

With the market hype that money can be doubled or tripled in no time and that one can become a millionaire in the stock market in India in a short span is the key attracting as well as expectation driving feature. Measly investments can no doubt be turned into big fortunes if the right investment in the right stocks is made in the stock market of India. Of course knowledge matters. The more knowledgeable you are more are the chances of gaining and fulfilling your short term or long term expectations.

Many an investor is also driven by the notion that it is day trading that gives one maximum profits in the shortest possible time span. This is again partially right and it all depends on how informed the investor is. Having a close watch on the movement of stock prices, reading market news regularly, viewing the latest stock quotes online are only a part of the efforts. There are other factors to be considered as well.

Day trading in the stock market of India would require you to allot a personal time limit, say two to three hours each day if you are engaged in some other jobs. If you are a full day trader, you may not be able to devote yourself in other employment opportunities except night jobs, which can upset your biological clock. Furthermore, if you are an inexperienced trader, there is no guarantee of making enough profits to run yourself or your family; so high risk is no doubt involved. But if you are well conversant about the complete process and if you give importance to keeping yourself updated and conducting research to find out potential stocks, changing stock Prices etc., the risks can be well managed. You need no job then and a few days or a single day's trading will give you enough returns depending on the amount of investment you make.

You do need enough funds to be deposited in your trading account for day trading compared to other trading options. When everything is done online, you can have a quick glimpse of the stock quotes online during trading hours. Based on market research, you can then find out whether the stock quotes featured well serve your purpose or not.
