Diamond Anniversary Bands are an exquisite way to remember any anniversary but the most well-known one is the 60th anniversary. It used to be the 75th, but has changed. Queen Elizabeth II of England recently celebrated her diamond jubilee with much fanfare and tradition and regalia. Yachts and barges were decorated and sailed down the Thames and into London. Queen Victoria, after 60 years of her famous reign, pretty much caused the 75th diamond anniversary to be changed to the diamond jubilee and this newer traditional year has stuck. The tradition of giving anniversary gifts after a set amount of years of marriage may have started in Germany.
