Did Someone Give You An Electronic Cigarette As A Holiday Gift

Perhaps you had never given much or any thought at all to giving up your tobacco

cigarettes for an electronic cigarette, but if someone gave you a new e cigarette starter kit as a holiday gift, you might want to at least give it a try. Evidently they believed that it would be a good idea for you to give up tobacco and try using something that many consider to be less harmful. The e cigarette does not burn any tobacco because there is no tobacco in it. You might discover that you can still get the same nicotine satisfaction that you crave, but without many of the other side effects that go along with smoking tobacco.

There is a difference between tobacco smoking and using the e cigarette, but the difference is subtle. Once you have used the product for a few days, you will likely not be able to tell much of a difference anymore. The e cigarette feels like you are really smoking, but you are actually inhaling a water based vapor with nicotine and flavorings. There is no real smoke with deadly tar. The nicotine solution used in the filters for the e cigarette also does not have the many deadly chemicals that are in tobacco.

Many former tobacco smokers that have switched to the electronic cigarette would not go back to smoking tobacco because it is so convenient to use the e cigarette. When it is charged up you can take it with you anywhere you want to go and never have to worry about lighting it up because it does not need to be lit. There is no offensive second hand smoke or order associated with the device either. This means you are not likely to offend other people around you. However, this does not mean that you will be able to use the device just anywhere because you can. There are many places that will not allow e cigarette use because it so closely resembles smoking and everyone is not accustomed to it yet. In time, it is possible that many places will eventually allow use of the product.

You might not have asked for this unconventional holiday gift, but since someone was concerned about your tobacco smoking addiction enough to give you the device, you might as well try it and see if you like it. Since it did not cost you anything anyway, what have you got to lose? You will not lose anything except perhaps your need to continue to smoke tobacco. You will also discover that using the e cigarette is a lot cheaper for most people than smoking tobacco too.
