I've been on Facebook for years and avoided the Farmville game that all my friends played. I could see how quickly that people whom I never thought would play games became addicted. Then along comes Cityville and it looked fun so when a friend asked me to 'just join and be my neighbor', I did. That was then end of not playing the social network games. Like 21 million others and counting, I can't stop playing my Cityville game! There are a million reasons why Cityville is rumored to be the 'next Farmville.' Chief among those reasons is the feeling of building and designing everything YOUR way. You are King and who doesn't enjoy that for a little while every day? You are in charge and the decisions are yours from housing to businesses and d?cor. No wonder it's such a hit!

The only drawbacks, especially for people like me who want to progress rapidly, is the almost painful wait time when you need crops or want to add a new housing type but require community buildings first. This happens when you run low on the coins and cash you need to make purchases. To have the city of your dreams with all the best houses, businesses and decoration, you need to have coins and continue to get to the higher levels and unlock the items that you want to place. The higher you go in levels, the longer it takes to get enough XP to level up again. I've found that there are several ways to level faster, get more buildings and produce more crops and shipments.

My first recommendation is to rake in those coins. Money makes the world go around and that thought is alive and well in Cityville. When you log onto your game, spend your energy on the things that will bring the most money before moving onto to other items. For example, collect from businesses before you collect rent. If you don't have enough incoming cash, you won't be able to buy community buildings in order to grow and that will make your citizens unhappy. You'll quickly learn to get your friends to do as many chores as possible so that you can focus your energy on making the population happy so you can level faster.
