If you want to have a good quality of computer sound regardless of the purpose, a good choice of sound card is the general purpose card. Ideal for games and listening to audio; there is no need for you to get a separate card for each set up.

Audiophile card

This card has a higher functionality compared to the gaming cards. It can serve as a buffer, so that interference will be minimized. This is what makes it a bit costly than the simpler internal sound chip.
