Chips betting color In the case of European roulette, all the players are given the same colored chips. This means that the players have to remember where they placed their bets since all the chips on the table are of the same color. In the case of American roulette, each player has different colored chips. This makes it easy to keep a tab on the numbers that you have bet on both from the dealer's point of view as well as the players.
