Since cell phone blocker are located at a smaller distance from cell phone in comparison to the tower so they need less energy to block signal from tower to cell phone rather than blocking the signal from cell phone to the tower. Earlier Gsm jammer were limited to their working on mobile phones only but nowadays new models based on double and triple bands can block the other systems such as GSM(global system for mobile communications) and GPS(global positioning system). Thus, gps jammers are also quite in demand.

The jammers are a blessing in disguise as they help in maintaining safety and well being at some of the most premium places.
