Chennai, formerly known as Madras is a major commercial

, cultural, economic and educational center in India. Chennai is famous for its sandy beaches, parks and historic landmarks. With a very distinct culture, the people of Chennai have a special interest in music, dance and all other art forms of South India. Chennai is home to many educational and research institutions. The school system in Chennai consists of an array of structured systems.

Children typically start school (junior or lower kindergarten) at the age of three, progressing to senior or upper kindergarten followed by twelve years of study. Chennai has made progress in terms of increasing primary education attendance rate and expanding literacy to approximately two thirds of the population. Chennai's improved education system is often cited as one of the main contributors to the economic rise of Chennai. The quality of education whether at primary or higher education is significantly much higher in Chennai as compared with developing states of India.

Ascetic orders of education under the supervision of a guru were a favored form of education for the nobility in ancient Chennai. The knowledge in these orders was often related to the tasks a section of the society had to perform. The priest classes, the Brahmins, were imparted knowledge of religion, philosophy, and other ancillary branches while the warrior classes, the Kshatriya, were trained in the various aspects of warfare.

Now, in this era of digitization, classrooms have turned to be electronic classrooms, children are taught through innovative expertise. Here is one example of digitized classroom:

Edmodo is as safe as they come. Edmodo is a safe environment that allows teachers and students to communicate with out any outside influence hacking in. Students are not allowed to directly contact another student privately through Edmodo. This helps eliminate or reduce bullying. Parents have their own accounts which allow them to only see communication between their child, teacher, and parent. Edmodo as a digital classroom tool is the best free option out there in my opinion. Edmodo allows the teacher to basically make his/her classroom a paperless classroom.

Teacher can post assignments, quizzes, polls, exams, and more on Edmodo. This completely eliminates the use of paper. Edmodo is 100% web-based. So a student can access it from any computer that is connected to the internet. The earlier Education system especially has been the target of many allegations from students, parents and teachers. Students think they are overburdened, teachers think they are not paid enough and parents want their children to get 99.99 percentages.

Thats why, in recent times there have been some big steps taken on education reforms & today education system is the consequence of that reformation. Right from the very Play schools where a child goes for refreshment & to learn new elements of life, it has also been converted into a house of digital learning. So that, kids can grows as full package which consists of knowledge of every field of this new era. So, this is how the Play schools, nursery schools of Chennai has developed along with this rapid developing India in education field. India is emerging with all its volcanic power to be a super power nation.
