The lush and peaceful tranquility of the Majorelle shows you a different side to the city. Designed by Yves St Laurent in the 1920s, these art deco gardens evolved as an artist's retreat in the newer area of the town. Relax among the cacti, vines and tropical flowers which frame beautiful mosaics.

One of the best things about visiting Marrakech in winter is the weather, as temperatures rarely drop below 18C. With summer temperatures reaching into the thirties, its a much more manageable temperature for sight-seeing and enjoying the city.
