Not only is this environmentally friendly, you will also be doing a great favour to the community.

Selling your bed second hand through the ads in your local newspaper or online is a great way of getting rid of your unwanted bed while also making a small profit at the same time. Make sure you confirm the terms of delivery and collection with the buyer beforehand.

Some bed suppliers also offer a service where they will collect and dispose of your old bed for a small fee on top of a new purchase. This is a great way of killing two birds with one stone as it were.
