Diwali Celebrations In Karnala At Panvel

This is my favorite festival and I remember all my Diwali festival celebrations till date

. There have been many found memories of my childhood. I would like to share some of those memories with you. The first one which comes to mind immediately is the one which I had in Malvan. It was the only one Diwali vacation where I went out of town to celebrate. We didnt purchase any crackers for the first time and I didnt mind it as I was sure that I was going to some new place. Three days of vacation here and I didnt want to come back. The hotel staffs where we booked our accommodations were very generous and they had invited us to celebrate with them. They had bought all the crackers and I being a kid enjoyed to the core. To my parents surprise they even gifted me some toys as a Diwali gift.

This celebration would be very special as it was the only time where I celebrated Diwali away from house. There are has been many since then and all of them were equally good. Other one which I remember is the one which I had four years back with my friends. My parents had allowed me to invite all my friends to home as they were planning to celebrate it in a grand style. I and my friends enjoyed a lot as there was no one to control us. My mother and all aunties were busy in their gossiping and kitty parties while dad and uncle were busy playing cards. We had the balcony and complete playground for ourselves. My parents had bought enough crackers for everybody and we were having good time bursting all the crackers. After some time we came back and I had arranged a VCD of latest Hollywood movie. We were planning to watch it as we knew that our parents will not disturb us till next morning. Though Mom came in and served us dinner in the bedroom and apart from that there was no disturbance for the period of movie. I enjoyed this celebration because I was the host for my friends and I love to tell them what to do and what not.

We would be having our Diwali 2012 celebration in Panvel this year. One of our relatives invited us and she stays near Panvel in Karnala. I think even this year it would be a grand celebration as all my cousins are expected to come. Its been long since I have met them and to spend three days together means a fun filled vacation. Ive already got warning from my parents that I need to watch my behavior as all of us when together does things which are considered to be easy go attitude by my relatives. Ill come back soon with my this experience very soon and Im very sure that it would take some time as we many need some time to sink all the celebration in. Wish you all happy Diwali.
