If you store all your shipping locations in the address book you know that if it has shipped correctly once that you will be labeling the package correctly every time you request a delivery to that location by either requesting the shipment online or printing the shipping label.

The other tool that some couriers have which can be useful for making sure you only ship to the correct addresses is something called address verification. This is an online tool which can check all addresses automatically which are entered into the system to confirm that they are a valid US address. Many improper addresses will show up as not matching to the zip code, allowing you to double check the address before shipping it out incorrectly and potentially having to pay that penalty fee.
