The path to success with search engine rankings is to do what's called SEO (search engine optimization) on your site, or blog. It's not tough to do this, but more than anything it is just a matter of learning the right knowledge and taking consistent action. You can enjoy the kind of profits you've been lookng for if you can manage to rank in the top three positions for good keyword phrases. Not all traffic is the same, and you'll have to optimize your site for the keywords that will bring you more than just tire kickers. It takes time, work, and learning to get those kinds of rankings, but it can be well worth it if you do it the right way. One huge mistake to avoid at all costs is doing insufficient market research before getting too far along in a business campaign. You do need to know if your market spends money, not all do, and if there's enough volume to even bother with - things like that. So when you target a niche market that isn't going to give your profits, then putting in tons of efforts towards it won't yield any results. Is your market full of people who buy, or are they desperate to find a solution to some particular problem? Whether or not the answer is 'yes' will allow you to decide if it's worth pursuing. But doing anything earlier is definitely a no-no.
In order to succeed with your internet marketing campaign, you need to be consistent. Put in regular, consistent action into your business and follow the process step by step and you will succeed. You will be slowed down by circumstances once in awhile but don't let that throw you off track. You have to constantly keep moving forward and try to keep everything balanced. Keep a close eye on your email marketing to monitor its results and to look out for any mistakes. You'll be just fine if you can accept that you'll make mistakes, always try to learn more, and when you do make mistakes just try to learn from them and move forward.
