Do Thailand Dental Holidays Make Financial Sense?

Traveling across the world to Thailand

Traveling across the world to Thailand. Paying for hotels in Thailand. Paying for food, taxis, and all the other expenses you might encounter. They may be little expenses, but they do add up.

So you ask yourself, between all the money spent and time traveling back and forth, does it make financial sense to travel to Thailand and get dental work done?

Let us find out and break down the realistic costs of your dental holiday in Thailand.

Actual Expenses (Real costs out of your pocket)

Airfare will be around 800 - 1000usd depending on where you are and if you know how to get good deals. Travel from USA and Europe will be around 800usd roundtrip by proper research. Travel from Australia can be as little as 500usd.

Your hotel will vary with your preference. Thailand has everything ranging from bungalows on the beach for 10usd all the way to the Four Seasons Resort running about 1,000usd a night. Assuming you are not a movie star who needs to stay at the Four Seasons, you can get a great hotel for around 50 - 70 dollars a night. This will be a solid 4 star hotel.

Taxi services are very cheap in Thailand. It will only cost you a few dollars to travel between your destinations. Mostly likely your hotel will be very near to your dental clinic.

The cost of food is one of biggest benefits to Thailand. People all over the world travel to enjoy a Thai meal which will only cost one or two dollars. Or if you are similar to my brother and like your western food, you can get a great pizza or sandwiches for half the price it would be at home.

Want to relax and enjoy your evenings on the beach or visit a nice bar? Thailand has every form of nightlife you could ever want. The cost for a good beer at a nice bar with a great live band will be no more than five dollars.

If you do the math, you can stay one week in Thailand on your dental holiday for under 2,000usd.
