Do You Exhibit These Top Ten Success Behaviours

This is a list of the top ten behaviours I consider important if you wish to succeed in as an entrepreneur. Don't confuse them with characteristics like desire, persistence, imagination, etc which are vital but hard to quantify.

This list is concrete and you can literally print this out, put it up on your wall and tick each of the items off as you actually do them:

Open a Savings Account - no matter how little you save, do it regularly and you'll continually become more wealthy

Eliminate Bad Debt - debt to fund an investment is usually ok, but all other debt is bad and is costing you money

Associate With Like Minded People - friends might not understand when do anything risky and they'll often criticise your behaviour. Associate with like minded entrepreneurs to give you positive support

Be Passionate About Your Work - don't just chase the money, do something you're passionate about and the money will follow

Develop Plans and Systems - devise plans and systems and follow them. They might not be perfect at the beginning but working without them is foolish

Outsource Tasks - do only the work you're passionate about and outsource the work you don't enjoy doing

Become an Expert - becoming an expert in your chosen field is the best investment you can make. Specialised knowledge is extremely valuable

Be a Master Marketer - whether you enjoy marketing or not it's the one area of your business you really need to master. It can make or break your business so don't leave it to chance

Create a Definite Major Purpose - all your plans should be taking you here. This is what you want your life to look like and it's the reason you're in business. See my DMP Blog Post for more info

Commit to Lifelong Learning - if you stopped learning the day you left school you stopped living. Read, watch, listen and absorb everything you can about business, mindset and lifestyle design
