Itinerary

Day 01: Pyramids Tour

Our Representative will pick you up from the Port of Ein El Sokhna by the cruise exit door. You will be driven by an air-conditioned vehicle through the fascinating Egyptian countryside towards Cairo. Upon arriving Giza you will be assisted & accompanied by our Egyptologist tour guide who is very well qualified and experienced . You will start your tour visiting the great pyramid of Giza which is the only existing wonder of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. The area would date back to almost 5000 years ago .At the Giza plateau you will not only see the great pyramid of Khufu" Cheops" but also the pyramid of Chefren ,the pyramid of Mykerinus ,the valley temple of Khefren and The Sphinx . there is an additional visit to the Solar Boat (extra ticket on spot). If there is enough time we will give you the chance to wander in the oldest bazaar in the middle east which dates back to1382 A.D ,it is called Khan El Khalili Bazaar ,where you will feel the atmosphere of living in Islamic Cairo hundreds of years ago as you will see plenty of mosques, lots of narrow streets, alleys and some old fashion coffee shops, many bazaars . Overnight in Cairo.

Day 02: Egyptian Museum / Salah Din Citadel

After having your breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the Egyptian museum which houses around 150000 artifacts and you will enjoy in the museum the treasures of the boy-king Tut ankh Amun. You can have an optional visit to the mummies room where you will see some pharaohs' mummies such as the mummy of Ramses the 2nd which is more than 3200 years old . Then proceed to the citadel of Saladin which was built around 1183 A.D . The citadel has many beautiful buildings but the most famous is the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali which was designed by a Turkish architect who came especially from Istanbul to build this great mosque. Mohamed Ali is the owner of the mosque and he ruled Egypt over 45 years (1805-1849) . After that you will be transferred back via air-conditioned modern vehicle to El Ein El Sokhna .
