Not every marketing method requires you to pay a fee, or fees. But the best methods do, and if you don't know the right way to advertise on these platforms, you could easily end up paying through the nose if you are not completely careful. If you are a beginner, you should stay away from all forms of paid advertising. But this is only the case if you do not receive the proper training. If you are intelligent enough to get trained ahead of time, then follow the instructions that your teacher has laid out for you and you will be fine.

In you are not trained you should stick to areas like article marketing, forum posting, SEO and other such areas for advertising your affiliate products. They are a lot harder to earn money, and the work required is ten times more than with paid advertising, but at least you won't be vulnerable to losing all of the money you currently have. That would be a shame, and it's a story I hear about all too often.

Some newbie jumps into the affiliate game thinking he's going to make a huge score and bam, thousands upon thousands of dollars wasted on Adwords ads with nothing to show for it. Don't be this guy (or gal) and don't be stupid. Get the proper training before you go down this path.
