Firstly you might like to know exactly what a wardrobe box is, as I never knew they existed until I stumbled upon a website that sold them as an effective and efficient removal tool.

These handy boxes are still made from cardboard the same as regular boxes, however they have additional features that make them truly unique. As the name suggests, they are used to transport or store the items that would normally be hanging in your wardrobe.

They are able to achieve this effectively because they are like a portable wardrobe, fully functional with a metal hanging rack. They can save hours of work when you are packing and moving, giving you plenty of time to worry about all the other items and household pieces that you need to pack up.

Moving house - this would obviously be the most traditional way to use a box of this sort. They make moving easy and because of their design, you can quite safely leave you clothes hanging in your closet until the very last minute and then transfer your clothing items in ready to move.

In summer, store your winter clothes safely and visa versa. These useful boxes are also the perfect size to store larger items that you may not use all the time such as excess pillows, blankets and doonas.

Moving rooms - you don't have to move to a completely different house in order to use a wardrobe or closet box. Sometimes the need to move rooms will arise, more often than not, when children move to a different room in the house. Clothing can be stored safely in the moving box while you clean out the wardrobe and move all the items to their new location. Sometimes moves like this take more than a day, therefore you know your clothes will still be crisp and clean the next day when you are ready to complete your room move.

Spring Cleaning - whenever you spring clean, grab the box and use it to have a safe place to put the clothes that you wish to keep, and then you can bag up the clothes that you no longer wear and don't need. It makes it a lot easier when you can separate a variety of garments in this way and before you know it, the wardrobe spring cleanout will be complete.
