In this article I want to talk to you about a secret method to market your music online that I'm not hearing anyone else talk about at the moment.
I think that is just because a lot of people want to keep their music marketing tactics hidden thinking everyone will copy them.
But I don't care about that stuff because I know that in the end only really cool music can be marketed well and you can't really cheat the system.
So anyway I call this the Google Music Marketing Loophole'.
It's really simple and it goes a little something like this:
1. You go onto google and type in "submit your music" in quotes just as I did.
2. You will then be presented with pages and pages full of places that you can upload a track and do some good marketing. It might be a recording competition or an Internet radio station, but just go through and see what works. You will have more than enough options to choose from.
3. Once you have gone through all the pages of your first search you can move on. (There will be a lot of stuff on your first search by the way.)
Other terms you can try...
* "Submit a track"
* "Book a gig"
* "Bands wanted"
* "Battle of the bands"
You get the idea...
This is a simple trick but I have used it to get some really nice music marketing opportunities for my songs.
