Listening to those lines, one could easily mistake Paul Rudd's attitude for ignorance. But realistically, he understood what the coffee barista was asking. He just made a conscious choice not to communicate with her.

When it comes to marriage and communicating with your spouse, can we all just agree that we don't communicate very well? Whether it's answering the spouse's call or telling the other how we really feel about things, communication between spouses is marginal at best. But many couples go through years of marriage without attempting to improve upon their communication skills, perhaps believing that no communication is good communication. People get divorced because of the lack of communication. This might be the number 1 or number 2 reason why marriages fail. Instead of changing the meaning of divorce, make a daily change in the way you communicate to your spouse.

How communicative are you? If you are truly committed to your marriage, it is important to always be interested in improving communication with your spouse. If you have no interest in that, why not just get a dog? They would never get angry because you chose to ignore their barking.
