ADHD is defined as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The appearance of this disorder is generally observed during a person's early childhood. It is however most commonly know by the name ADD or attention deficit disorder. People affected by this disorder generally find it difficult in containing its spontaneous responses. The spontaneous responses usually observed are lack of attentiveness and speech problems.
ADHD signs are generally known to make its effects shown in almost all spheres of activity. The major signs comprise of irregular sleep patterns, erratic performance, impulsive physical activities, poor time management, lack of attention and concentration, being disorganized, and others.
Frequent mood swings generally consisting of feeling emotions either mild or extreme will be experienced by such people. Such people are also known to become easily frustrated.
People suffering from this condition easily get distracted if they start to sense a small change like a smell or experience a moment or a noise. Such people are known to daydream quite often. They are usually quite hesitant on meeting deadlines and tend to lag back.
These people are generally known to be very impatient in nature and are less keen on waiting for things to happen. As a result, they hardly learn from their past mistakes and tend to act in a hurry at most times. They also have the habit of losing or misplacing things and are also quite unhygienic.
Such people can also be either very active or very lazy while participating in physical activities. People who are active will not be remaining still for a long duration and will want to engage in any physical activity. They will start to display huge amounts of energy. The ones who are lethargic are lazy can be referred to as couch potatoes. They are very slow in nature. Most of the time their physical self is present whereas their mental state is elsewhere.
On most occasions, they will find it difficult on deciding what is important and what they want. They will find doing their own homework very hard and difficult. Inconsistency is very common in them and can be easily observed, be it homework or school work. Following oral instructions will become difficult for them if the instructions are many.
