Do you remember your first Network Marketing Company?

People certainly come and go in this industry

, but for those of us who stick

with it and believe in this industry as a whole, are we destined to be in only

one network marketing company?

Possibly.

For me, I had been approached by a few people over the years to join this

company or that company. Actually, my first encounter was with Amway and I just

kind of assumed the rest were Amway as well. I didn't look too much into it,

and at first I actually thought Amway was the only company doing business

like that! Kind of funny now that I look back at it.

Either way, they all had the same types of products, and I just wasn't sold on

those companies or network marketing itself yet.

Then an opportunity came across my desk that I thought had a great business

model, unique products, and it was something I could definitely put my name

behind. But I sit here thinking to myself; regardless of my success with this

company will I ever explore my options with other companies?

What forces create this change in a network marketer? Maybe its more of

a situation than a force, but either way, timing is everything and if an opportunity

with phenomenal timing presents itself, the smart person has to have enough wits

about them to see the value in that. A simple example should suffice...

Its the late 1800's and this thing called a telephone comes out. Your company

is immersed in the Morse Code market and you swear by it. You say,

"No freakin way will I use that stinkin' telephone, Morse Code is where its at."

Fast forward to the early 1900's and everyone has a telephone, and people are

filthy stinkin' rich because of it. You're left kicking yourself because of your

stubbornness and silly Morse Code obsession.

Is there a point in your network marketing career where you changed opportunities

because the timing was just irresistible? Or did you change because you were

simply just struggling and thought a new company would solve all of your

problems?

A lot of people will simply blame their lack of success on the company

rather than themselves, which is totally bogus because anyone can be successful in

ANY network marketing company. You just need the right leaders and the right

tools. Not 20th Century tools either. I'm talking 21st Century, cutting edge tools

congruent with today's technology.

When you know how to brand yourself as a leader, it really doesn't matter what

company you are in, BUT certain opportunities do have timing and momentum that

others don't have.

It's an intriguing situation to find yourself torn between two companies, but

you have to trust your gut feeling and be 100% sure that you're not changing

companies simply because of your lack of success.

Make the change because its a smart business decision.
