Patients donot find time for themselves and their dependents and tries to solve the problems by self medicatin and when they land into complications and then they run for doctors at odd timings and make emergency but the fact is that they donot find the time from their work and blame the doctors for negligence

Doctors and patients both have rights, but patients also have several responsibilities
As a patient, it is good to know the responsibility a person has to receive the highest-quality medical care as well as to make sure he properly manages his health.
Duties and responsibilities of the patient
Patient's responsibilities include:
keep appointments punctually-
take the medicines as prescribed by the doctor
getting in touch early and often with the doctor if anything is going wrong , if one feels that medicine is creating some more trouble than curing him or feels the the medicines received are not working properly
paying promptly for one's medical services
who:think they are self-important and demand to be seen immediately
beat around the bush
do not pay for their services
expect doctors to be available at their disposal,
are know-it-alls appreciate the work of doctors
are punctual
respect the doctor's privacy and personal life
are well informed and understand what the doctor can and cannot do to help them
report problems early If a patient is himself negligent and if something happens to the patient the responsibilities for complications is always put on the doctors.but nobody tries to find out whether the patient was negligent towards his health.
The patients in india take liberty to consult many doctors and they just go on taking re-consultations for a particular problem but the time they make the decision it is very late for the attending doctore to control his complications
The patients hide their history and does not tell right situation which is difficult for the doctor to do diagnosis.
If diagnosis is not correct the doctors cant make the treatment plans.
So people should also know their resposibilities for taking good and fair medical advise
