Some people say that it affects negatively and some says that age has positive affects on performance of employees at workplace. Older workers are perceived as lacking flexibility and being resistance to new technology that's why organizations are actively seeking for individuals who are adaptable and open to change.
Also negativity associated with old age workers clearly hinders the hiring of old workers.
Also absentees of old workers may affect performance at workplace because due to poor health associated with aging and larger recovery period that old workers needed when injured.

Lower turnover that results in job satisfaction because older employees have lower job opportunities than younger ones that's why they have greater concentration on work and long tenure provides high wage rates, longer period vacations, and more attractive pension benefits that results in job satisfaction.
