Women cheat because of many different reasons. Seldom do you discover a woman cheats just because her family doesn't matter. To tell you the truth, women who cheat are usually close to their own families.

They don't want to break up their home so they cheat and work very hard to keep that cheating secret. Why? They do this because there is some deep need that isn't being met in the marriage that this "other man" is meeting.

You might think your cheating wife doesn't love you anymore but that isn't just true. She doesn't only love you but also your family so much. She never wanted to hurt you but there's a major problem involved in your relationship.

Well, the really big problem is that she may not even know what the problem is. She has a need. Something is empty inside but that doesn't mean she can pinpoint it or spell it out.

Should she cheat? Obviously, she shouldn't. She knows it's wrong. She knows it's a risk to the marriage and family she loves so much. So why is she compelled to do it?

That partly answers it. She knew about what will happen but do you think rationality is still present? This is called a compulsion to cheat what the other man is offering. Her need is being fulfilled by the other without the involvement of logical thought.

Hurt is another issue. She knows you are hurt about it but it's so irresistible to cheat. This is a sad reality.

Does her Need Make Cheating OK?

Obviously NO. Her cheating is not easy to let go of and it's not alright to do so. The best way for you to handle this is to understand why her behavior is like that. This way, you can manage your anger, jealousy, and depreciated pride - which are distractions is getting things together again.

If you are really dedicated in making things work out together then you have to understand some of these things:

1)Understand why she is cheating. To know this, you have to sit down and talk to each other as comfortable as you can. Don't go aggressive so you can get deeper into the reasons what motivates her cheating.

2)Understand where you and your wife's emotional status. If both of you are on the rocks then better determine your devotion to keep up with what you have started together. If it's not 100 percent, don't dream big about yourselves.

3)Understand why you'd be willing to forgive and make her understand that this is a one time offer if you are. Don't make this a "get out of jail free to cheat" card for your wife. Make sure she knows just how close she came to losing it all and that the risk will not pay off for her a second time.
