Does Prime By Usp Labs Work, Or Is It Just Snake Oil?

A product that has been very popular on the market for the past several years is USPlabs Prime

. This supplement is claimed by its manufacturer as being very effective for both lean mass (muscle) gain, and fat (weight) reduction.

USPlabs mentions in their pamphlet that comes in the package, that when an experiment was made on their supplement, the scientists chose test subjects who would presumably not be affected by anything that wouldn't work. This excluded those who had not been exercising often, as these subjects would probably have reacted well to any product, whether it truly worked or not. The conclusion of the study was that the test subjects did indeed make significant progress in gaining muscle, and losing fat.

Our personal experiences, however, hint that the results of the manufacturer-backed experiment may not be relevant to real-world users of the product. Since the manual mentioned previously also states that one can use the supplement on either a bulk (a weight gaining cycle) or a cut (a fat reducing cycle), we decided to keep our exercise and diet regimen uniform and unchanged, thus we should have both increased lean mass and lost adipose (fat) tissue simultaneously. Our results were rather disappointing: The manufacturer promised "incredible euphoria", which we never encountered. Indeed, if the supplement had actually performed as was touted, most if not all people would automatically experience euphoria, as one tends to feel high when muscle and strength increases happen. USPlabs claims that the feeling of Superman is real-world feedback, but is more probably a placebo effect instead.

The pamphlet states some things that seem somewhat fishy: Firstly, that the ingredients in the supplement are extremely rare - in fact, they are so rare and unique that some of the providers of raw materials for the corporation had never heard of them, and others even provided them with incorrect materials. One of these constituents is Terminalia Chebula - a substance that USPlabs states is one of the most powerful CNS compounds in the world (to which they refer to Planet Muscle Magazine), when Ayurvedic medicine positions this fruit as a universal cure used to treat blindness, tumours, and cold-related coughs, but certainly not as a potent CNS agent. The other constituent is Tribulus Aquaticus, which the product marketing literature describes as a rare species of herb and connotes that it is a powerful anabolic compound (once again, referring to the same issue of Planet Muscle Magazine). In contrast, the book Thirty Five Years In The East Adventures, Discoveries, Experiments And Historical Sketches Relating To The Punjab And Cashmere by John Martin Honigberger describes this ingredient as a nutritious substance extracted by boiling waternuts, and is a principal source of revenue to the Cashmerean government - apparently, it might not be so uncommon at all.

Regardless of the exaggerations made by USPlabs about their product, we believe that there are no benefits to taking it for the effects touted by the company, and it is quite possible that the results reported by users of the product could be due to crowd psychology. If you're looking for an expensive Ayurvedic medicine that may help you with some ailments though, this product may be worth investigating.
