Dog Escapes And Bites Two On A Us Airways Flight

A US Airways Flights to Phoenix landed in Newark New Jersey

, earlier this week as a dog onboard bit a passenger and a flight attendant. The Dog, kept in his carriage was brought by a passenger on plane who opened his carriage and let him out. Though this may have been accidental but the dog caused an emergency landing on Newark, where the victims of the bite were sent for immediate medical care.

US Airways allows passengers to take certain type of pets onboard in checked carriages, baskets or boxes that are to be kept under the seats. This is the first incident of its type on the plane and has raised the question of how safe it is to allow pets on board. Where it's a "must" for many to travel along with their pet, any small security lapse can pose a serious threat to other passengers on board.
