New York, NY - Ms. Hartman is the Author of "DIAL A DYNAMITE DOG: The Ultimate Field Guide for Training Your Pet." In her book she gives simple, sound solutions for training dogs without force or bullying. The book also preaches accepting and celebrating differences in animals, and the power of kindness and the use of positive reinforcement in training. Through her talks and interactive demonstrations, Lisa will engage the audience and teach the children better communication skills and understanding not just with dogs, but with each other as well.

The lectures with Lisa will consist of a discussion on writing about what you love, a demonstration of positive training techniques, a visit by Lisa's own dogs when available, and a chance to purchase an autographed copy of her book. A Q&A section with the audience will also be included. First stop is a talk with the Eighth grade class at Southampton's prestigious Tuckahoe school this Thursday, March 24th, with other dates to follow.
