So now that you have just completed your Training. That is awesome! You have just completed the most difficult part of starting a Paintless Dent Removal Business or Reconditioning Business. So good for you- the hardest part is now behind you. So now what do you do? This is the big dark hole that no one really knows about unless you have spoken with us on the phone or had communication with another Paintless Dent Removal or Reconditioning Technician that is already working in field. Your first step is reality- you must judge the level of skills. Now if youre ready to proceed, then the next step will vary, depending on what your goal is. If your goal is to use Paintless Dent Removal or Reconditioning as an income add on, then you can start by getting some clients on a part time basis. If your skills are still in the developing stage, try considering going to a small dealership to get some more experience on your new craft. You can offer to do work for nothing or at significantly cheaper rates. Once you have your skills at a level that is acceptable to where you can perform adequately. Yes nobody likes to work for nothing, but this might be a way to get some good experience. Many of our trainees have done this for reduced rates for a week or so after they complete training, and then went right to the big clients with a great level of success. This is really something that you want to consider. You have the skills that you need. Now start building those customers. So you ask, if there risk? Of course there is risk in starting any kind of business. This article is not about gloss over the obvious risks. This article is about preparing you for some of the risks and exploring options. When you prepare to start your new business, there are some things you need to take in to consideration. The big one is Money. Yes, cash, green backs. I do not recommend that anyone, a family person, or the single person should quit their current income position and jump head first into a Paintless Dent Removal or Reconditioning Business. I highly recommend that everyone should start part time, unless you are working for someone and theyve guaranteed you a salary, or if you have significant cash reserves. That means at least 6 months worth of cash reserves. That does not mean you going to need 6 months of cash in the bank, what it does mean is that you will have some room to breath for any possible obstacles that you may face. The next thing is. You need a plan. You must have a business and marketing plan in place, with forecasts, goals and your options for good success, with solid back up plans. This is probably the most important part of starting any business. You need a good solid business plan reading to roll. Part time to start you business is the smartest way to go. I always recommend that a new Paintless Dent Repair Technician start out building customers on a part time basis, by serving them around their current job schedule. Service these customers in the afternoons, evenings and or weekends. If Reconditioning is to be an income supplement, you can continue on this path. If it is meant to replace your current income, then you would want to establish a solid book of customers prior to leaving your current employment or income.About the Author:
