A lot of people really enjoy riding their bikes

8. Watch your mirrors. If you don't have a mirror on your bike, you should think about getting one.

9. Signal! Just like cars need to signal when they change lanes to alert other drivers, it is important that bicyclists tell drivers where they are going so drivers can properly anticipate their moves.

10. Travel on less congested roads. Instead of going down a major thoroughfare, try planning your route before hand to take less traveled roads. A lot of times these roads are much more beautiful than the big ones anyway.
