Lately I've been spending a lot of time at my sister's house and I swear that she

and her husband are in great need of some Austin heating repair service at their house, but she's going through some major denial. She walks around the house wearing short sleeves while everybody else is bundled up and still shivering.

She tries to keep her thermostat set at a low temperature so that they can save money on their heating bill, and I completely understand that. I am a pretty thrifty person that keeps my thermostat down pretty low too, but her house is freezing.

I always make sure to wear layers when I go to their house, and a lot of times after hanging out there for hours I realize that I am still wearing my winter coat. If I know that we are going to be just watching a movie or sitting and talking I make sure to bring a blanket so that I have something warm to cuddle up in.

I am almost wondering if her thermostat is even accurate. For example, I am sitting in her living room right now and the thermostat says that it's seventy degrees, but it feels much colder in here. The thermostat at my house is set for an even colder temperature, but when I come here from my house I am always freezing.

I guess I shouldn't complain. After all, it is very kind of my sister to let me come over all the time. My husband is gone a lot so if I'm not at her house, I am home all by myself. She also has the internet which comes in handy if I want to get some work done from home, well her home anyway.

It's really nice to have my sister living nearby where it's so convenient to visit her whenever I want, but I just wish that she would get past whatever it is that keeps her from admitting that they need some Austin heating repair service done in their house.

It would make it so much more comfortable and enjoyable when I am spending time with her and her family. There are plenty of things that I could go without in order to save money. For example, I don't need to go out to eat or go see a movie every weekend, but I most definitely think that it's a necessity to maintain a pleasant temperature in my home.
