When the much anticipated college move-in day arrives, hopefully youll have all the college dorm room items you need to create a versatile, personalized, and comfortable space thats fit to sleep, study, eat, hang out with friends, and even party.To do this youll need to know what to bring with you and what to leave behind.

With the right college dorm room items and some imagination, you can transform a boring white room with bad florescent lighting into a cozy atmosphere, even on a small budget.

Personal Touches:Bring posters, photographs, pictures, and other items to hang up around your room.These take the boring edge off of your plain white walls.Avoid pricey frames (youd be surprised by how many dorm room items are susceptible to breaking) and anything requiring nailing and hammering into the wall.
