Kinga Vereczkey was named Director of Sanford Specialty Clinics three years ago and has been in charge of the multi-specialty practice since 2007. Sanford Specialty Clinics, directed by Kinga Vereczkey-Porter, is part of the UNC Community Based Practice Network and is an outreach service of the UNC Health Care System and part of Triangle Physician Network. Sanford Specialty Clinics, part of University of North Carolina Hospitals, offers pulmonary medicine, rheumatology, endocrinology, nephrology and cardiology. Kinga Vereczkey and Sanford Specialty Clinics are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs. Many services can be performed in the office including: diabetes health education, smoking cessation courses, disease specific education, bone density studies, x-ray services, and ultrasounds. Kinga Vereczkey attended medical school in Hungary at Albert Szent-Gorgyi Medical University and graduated in 1988. Kinga Vereczkey completed a Neurology fellowship at Millard Fillmore Hospital in 1998. In 2001, Dr. Kinga Vereczkey completed an Internal Medicine residency at University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, ranked #59 out of 144 in research quality by US News & World Report. In 2004, Dr. Kinga Vereczkey completed a residency in Rheumatology at University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. Kinga Vereczkey is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. About Kinga Vereczkey Kinga Vereczkey has been the Director of Sanford Specialty Clinics in Sanford, NC for three years and serves as Assistant Professor at the University Of North Carolina School Of Medicine at Chapel Hill. She also serves as Assistant Professor at UNC Thurston Arthritis Research Center. Kinga Vereczkey is a Fellow Member of the American College of Rheumatology.
