Dr. Loren Borud A Reputed Surgeon

. This is where Dr. Loren Borud has been playing a great role in his 20 years career. He is also popular as a faculty in plastic surgery at Harvard Medical School. He offers consulting services to the firms of surgical products, medical and biotechnology device.

He was born and grew up in Minot, North Dakota. He graduated from the Minot High School. He achieved his B.S. Degree from Stanford University with Phi Beta Kappa honors. On Human Biology and in Physics he double majored. He admitted at UCLA in general surgery. He also worked further two years on research in the Plastic Surgery Division while performing at UCLA. More than that, he was trained for a further three years in hand or microsurgery and in plastic surgery at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. This is an esteemed university of New York where he performed at Bellevue Hospital, Tisch Hospital, and at Mt. Sinai Hospital as well. As time passed, he presented himself as an efficient doctor in his field.

He performed at Harvard Medical School as a faculty member for full-time in Boston. There, he served for 8 years. Then he promoted his rank to the Assistant Professor of Surgery. With his excellent performance he gained a global fame in body contouring treatment after losing weight. He has written more than more than 30 scientific books. He has given his precious lectures at meetings of national plastic surgery society. He has given lectures at international forums in Europe, Asia, and South America. More than that, he is the chief editor of the book of Body Contouring after having Massive Weight Loss. This atlas was published in 2009 by CineMed.

Dr. Loren Borud is trying to make time for practicing consulting, writing, and to fulfill an executive program of MBA at Kellogg School. He has consulted large U.S. firms to bring new methods and designs for their surgical technology. He also advised for marketing and information strategy. In his extra time, he has done two Boston Marathons. At present, he is working to publish a book on the plastic surgery economics.
