In order to help cover some of the costs, you might want to go ahead and sell the old kitchen cabinets and counters. You could easily get a few hundred dollars for all of it.

You will want to make sure that you are staying open minded about the possibility of a brand new layout for your kitchen. Completely changing from how things were before is the perfect way to make sure that you are getting a truly brand new kitchen. When it is all said and done, you won't even be able to recognize your kitchen and that is a good thing. You might think that you just stepped into a page from one of the home remodeling or housekeeping magazines that have the picture perfect kitchens in them. But the thing is, it is now you that has the picture perfect kitchen.
