To dream you cannot talk or move in your dreams are dream messages telling you that the moment has arrived for you to bravely address a situation or problem you are experiencing in your life with the personal goal of gaining back control over how you feel about the way you look at a situation that has been spiraling to breaking point and is changing your life.

The first step in overcoming your anxiety and fear is to try very hard to look at the problem as not quite so overwhelming that you're rendered near helpless. Educate yourself not to look at the circumstances but believe that there is always hope and a way. And by you getting more involved, you can do something to change the problem.

To dream you cannot move or talk often results from a fear or a traumatic memory experience you may have suffered recently, earlier in your life, possibly as far back as your childhood. Learn the awareness that it is not uncommon to be unable to move or speak in dream if in the dream the subconscious is reminded of a fear memory that is being triggered by an event in your dream. This is one of the ways our mind escapes to a silent place in order to protect the body from danger or harm while in the dream experience, when you feel were you only able to manage to scream, talk or yell, you could escape the danger or bring the dream to a close.

In an addition to memories causing dreams where people cannot talk or move, it is not unusual to experience dreams where they cannot talk or move their bodies as a result of real life experiences they have had in the natural in their wakened states. These kinds of experiences are generally emotional or physically violent in nature, can be both verbal or physical or both. If the experience is strong or violent enough, the memory will linger rooted into the subconscious that often reappears over and over in our dreams. Over the years, I have talked to many people who suffered from these kinds of dreams and from what they have told me, the dream experience can be horrifying.

Another reason for a person not to be able to talk, yell or scream in a dream results from an experience in the natural where they were embarrassed or felt looked down upon by what they had said or done, and it is this fear which carries over into their dreams. This is a common trait with people ill informed, have speech impediments or stutter when nervous and agitated around certain people whose routinely respond with emotional, angry outbursts without much provocation or real cause.

Many times, a person is not able to talk, yell or scream in a dream as a result of anger transferred over from their awakening state into their dream toward a individual in a dream, or toward a person who is symbolic of someone in the dream. This would be someone they dislike or are angry with in the natural.

Fear constantly plays an important part in these types of dreams where a person is not able to move, partially paralyzed or paralyzed in a dream and can barely move about or left to crawl in the dream and is as a result of a fear they have in their wakened state because they do not have the answer to a situation or a problem. The dreaming person does not know what to do in a particular situation resulting in an inhibiting fear of rejection moving into the dream state, either paralyzing them into non-action or rendering them barely able to crawl or shift their body.

Yet, another common reason that is sometimes overlooked for a person not to be able to talk, yell or scream in a dream can be a result of an experience in the natural where they were actually embarrassed or looked down on for what they had said or had done in the natural, and this fear memory enters into their dreams. Haven't we all been there? We all need to learn to make unpleasant memories fade. Okay, it happened. I'm a different person today. Consider the person who caused you to feel that way. Not a very nice person, eh? Therefore, this is a memory that today has no continuing place in your thought life.

Often people who may not be feeling entirely confident in their knowledge on a discussed subject or who must function amidst a speech impediment do become agitated around the kind of people who also make others feel uncomfortable. These are the difficult persons who tend to continually behave with intense emotional outbursts as a response to almost anything or anyone.

You do realize, of course, that you've got the stuff, the real stuff that it takes, so just keep on talking; After all, we all stutter from time to time. So what. It's normal. You must master your life by making choices, to be calmly confident; and when those moments arise, you'll be right in the moment, and be ready.
