Use this approach whether you are looking for a new job, seeking that promotion, or hunting for that special someone.

Dressing your best is vital when it comes to interviewing for a job. It is still an employer's market out there and even the smallest misstep can put you in the No' stack. Treat an interview like a sale, except in this case the product that you are marketing is yourself, and wouldn't it be best to put that product in the best packaging? A crisp dress shirt under a freshly pressed suit is what you should be presenting yourself in, and don't forget your cufflinks. Sure, you could wear your standard button down shirt with the standard cuffs, but you are trying to stand out! What better way to stand out than to don a pair of cufflinks? There are only a few accessories that allow you to showcase your personality when you are in a suit. There is an unlimited supply of cufflink designs out there for you to choose from.

What if you already have a job, but that promotion you've been eyeing for months or even years seems just out of reach? You may not be a manager yet, but that does not mean that you can't dress like one. The way you dress can change your confidence level and the way you carry yourself.
