We at Sober living by the sea offer treatment programs as well as long term Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment at the Beach because we know only offering a rehabilitation program will not put the individual back on the mainstream life. These programs are created in such a way that newly sober individuals can thrive in the recovery community of Newport Beach while still living in a structured treatment environment. Since 1986, our long term rehab program has been the preferred destination for men and women. The most effective addiction treatment is provided by the long term care.

Recovering individuals in our long term rehab program are able to integrate back into society with plenty of supervision and support. Clients in our long term rehab program live in gender specific houses and will be drug/alcohol tested every 72 hours. The men and women enjoy the freedom of being able to ride their beach cruiser to participate in the recovery program that our clinical staff has designed for them. Our objective is to give our newly sober individuals a vacation feeling rather than that of a rehabilitation program.

We offer them treatment at our campus in Newport Beach Peninsula. Our location right on the beach in Southern California allows us to offer a wide variety of fun activities for both fitness and also to help our clients build fellowship and learn how to "have fun in sobriety." Our long term drug rehab program includes fitness activities (such as Yoga, Golfing, 5K run, Basketball etc.), outdoor activities (such as visit to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Sailing-competition, Sand-castle competition etc.) educational and self esteem building activities (like Art museum, Movies, church visit etc.).

We have included following elements in our program: recovery lectures, addiction workshops, one-on-one therapy sessions, group therapy, 12-Step Recovery Meetings, family groups on weekly and monthly basis. We offer T.E.A.C.H. Sober College Program for resuming career and education.
