Dry Hair - Some Tips To Manage

Dry hair looks thin and rough and it is susceptible to damage

, breakage, tangles and split ends. It appears similar even after a proper wash and can lead to deteriorating quality of hair. There are some natural remedies and solution for dry hair, which you can try and get back the luster and shine to your mane.

Mix an egg into a cup of skimmed milk, until the foam becomes even.

Apply this on to your scalp. Leave it to set for 5 minutes and rinse your hair properly with water. You can continue the treatment for 2 weeks regularly to strengthen the lose strands.

Blend a teaspoon of shikakai or 2 tablespoons of gram flour into a cup of coconut milk. Apply the mixture on your scalp and massage your hair gently with the mixture. Cleanse your hair after 5 min of massage.

Mix up a tbsp each of castor oil and glycerin. Add a tsp of cider vinegar and a tbsp of mild herbal shampoo to this and make an effective solution for your dry hair. Smear this on your scalp and leave it for 20 min for the scalp to grab all the necessary nutrients for the health of the hair. Then, rinse it with clean water.

Weak and dry hair should not be washed too often. Also, washing dry hair daily with shampoo makes it drier by washing out all the natural hair oil from the scalp.

One best remedy for dry hair is coconut oil. Apply it from the scalp till the end of your hair and massage it gently. Keep it overnight and wash it off using a mild shampoo, the next day. Continue this treatment for three weeks for a dazzling effect.

Another remedy for dry scalp is massaging your hair with safflower oil or olive oil. It provides moisture to the scalp and strengthens your dry and brittle hair. The same procedure as in coconut oil can be used for this also.
