Our Ductless Fume Hoods provide protection to both laboratory personnel and the environment from toxic exposure and are quickly becoming alternative to conventional fume hoods. Unlike conventional fume hoods, these hoods exhaust out chemical fumes and recycle air directly back to the laboratory, providing high level of personnel and environmental protection. Filters are available for adsorbing or treating acid gases, solvents, ammonia, formaldehyde and radioisotopes.

These hoods Protector Work Stations are designed specifically for the needs of histologists and pathologists. Models are available that use carbon filters that adsorb formaldehyde or organic solvent vapours. Other models duct to the outside. Fume Absorbers are compact, portable enclosures that use a carbon filter to adsorb low levels of xylene and alcohol vapours.

Its designed with the industrial grade fire resistant commercial wooden board covered with laminated sheets and lined completely with epoxy coated/FRP lining or corrosion resistant steel sheets having epoxy coated from inside, duly painted with attractive stoves enamel/air drying spray paint. The work table is made up of gauge construction material fortified with acid proved glazed tiles/stainless steel grade ss-304.Our units ensure minimum illumination level of approx 800 Lux on work table. It is generally known that fume hoods are capable of maintaining a constant exhaust volume. Its carefully designed to generate low sound level. Our Fume hoods are rated better than industry standard of 60db, at approx 15cm distance from the sash.

Ductless fume hoods are provided with a powerful fan that pulls the air in through the hood's inlet and into the filtration system. This system helps to keep harmful airborne contaminants/toxic fumes away from the operator's respiratory zone while they work within the hood. Various filter media is used depending on the chemical vapours/and or particulate that are generated (such as HEPA filters, Activated Carbon, or specialty-blended media like ammonia, mercury, acid gas, and aldehyde). Because the air is re circulated, no exterior-ducting or loss of heat and air conditioning is necessary.
