E-book is delivered directly to our computer that means there is no waiting for post or couriers avoiding laxity. There is no delay and work hasten up as there is no mediators. Initially Amazon drew with the E- book concept holding no compatible readers at that time but today many sellers comes out with the cordless readers.
The Amazon firstly offered two versions of E- book. One is the kindle international version and other is the kindle DX version. The kindle DX version differs from the other version only in its 3 g facility availability which is only within U.S. While kindle international facility is applicable over 100 countries. Bigger screen size is there in the kindle DX and is more applicable. But normal DX offered screen about 6 inches and more over it provides more memory as it can holds up to 3500 books to that of 1500 books of the global kindle.
The upcoming competitor of the kindle version is Barnes and Noble Nook e- reader. Similar are its functions like kindle version but Wi-fi compatibility, expandable memory and added advantages like sharing media facility with others using nook reader or iphone or ipods or Mac pcs or from Motorola blackberry and smart phones etc are great, yet the non availability of wireless facility makes it failure among users.
One more latest launched e-reader is Sony e-reader. And this reader has all the facilities that are there in the kindle version. So this reader competes with kindle version. But it does not offer the sharing option like that of the kindle and noble versions but it offers the slot for expandable memory and good touch facility as compared to that of kindle version. The main disadvantage is the cost that is nearly $100 greater than Kindle or Nook.
There is another e-reader in the race namely Irex Digital Reader. Like that of Sony reader its price is also $100 more than that of Kindle and Nook but with lesser upgrades in it. It has a screen size of nearly 8 inches yet the memory compatibility is more which holds 750000 books and it provides 3G facility with no Wi-FI option. It works worldwide.
