The best Easter parties follow an Easter theme right down to the table napkins. I've seen Easter arrangements go so far as to people having live bunnies hopping around the back yard. Here are a few things you can include in your party arrangements.

Easter plates and spoons

You can buy these or rent them; the choice is yours. If you have annual Easter parties then it might be a better idea to buy them. Consider it a long term holiday party investment. If you've got old plates that have lost color, you can get the kids to paint them and use them at the party. You can get glasses, spoons and all kinds of table ware in an Easter theme. You can shop for these supplies online or at your local party supply store. Remember to order early if you're buying online because stores run out of supplies and they take time to deliver.

Easter decorations

You can get just about anything from big bunnies and chickens to fake grass, plastic eggs and balloons. The choice in decorations is endless; kids can help make decorations as well, all you need is a quick trip to the crafts store and your kids are good to go. A fun idea that I once saw at an Easter party was to have one big and huge Easter display. The family having the party had used a large stuffed bunny (rented) and put lots of smaller ones around it. It was decorated with flowers, Easter gift baskets, fake grass and lots of plastic eggs. They had the food spread out in front and the Easter gifts placed there.

Easter food

There's a huge variety of food available to complete the theme. You can always have the traditional buns, simnel cakes and of course roasted lamb. To keep the kids happy, make sure there's chocolate on the table. If you don't want candy to be part of the meal, put some chocolate fruit on the table for kids. Centerpieces for the table can include fresh fruit bouquets.

Easter fruit baskets are a popular gift for both children and adults. If you've got families coming over, this can be the perfect gift to give. Food themed baskets are best because everyone can enjoy them.
