Economic Liberty Requires Fiscal Responsibility

Fiscal Responsibility is something Utah was known for and Utah has done with fiscal responsibility in comparison to other states

. With the economy being what it is these days, Utah has weathered pretty well when it comes to fiscal responsibility. However, Utah could do better at creating more economic liberty for itself. Utah depends a lot of government revenue. Utah should exercise more state sovereignty in many areas and taking the fiscal responsibility to create more economic liberty for the state of Utah is one area that Utah could improve upon.

Fiscal responsibility means that there must also be more individual responsibility within the house-holds within Utah for the rest of 2012 and continuing forward. Educational choice is one area where house-holds can improve on taking the educational choice to complete educational training that can then in turn create more fiscal responsibility and economic liberty.

Utah can also exercise fiscal responsibility and state sovereignty by creating fiscal responsibility policies within Utah to improve economic liberty. Spending limited government funds has increased by almost fifty percent in the last twenty years. There needs to be more fiscal responsibility in cracking down on these spending habits so that state sovereignty can reign instead of being more dependent on limited government funds. Getting control of fiscal responsibility now by being aware of Utah's increased spending and putting in place fiscal responsibility policies to minimize this increase in limited government fund spending will help Utah continue forward to do well with fiscal responsibility as well as create more economic liberty for the state of Utah.

Utah also needs to be aware of fiscal responsibility and its relation to economic liberty because of the huge growth in population and house-hold incomes. These two numbers have increased in Utah within the last twenty years--population numbers and house-hold incomes. Utah can use state sovereignty to create policies that will help it's Utah citizens maintain fiscal responsibility, for example with regulations on bank loans, etc. Maintaining fiscal responsibility is directly connected to economic liberty and economic liberty doesn't mean that Utah or anyone can just spend money and limited government funds however and wherever they want and continue to raise debt. More debt just means less fiscal responsibility has been exercised and more debt means that there is less economic liberty. A country or state like Utah or anywhere weighed down by debt doesn't enjoy the economic liberty that it could. When people stop taking individual responsibility in all areas of life, especially fiscal responsibility, then their lives are weighed down with debt and problems.

Fiscal responsibility means that you set rules and policies and take the individual responsibility to follow them. Within a large company or within a state like Utah or any organization there must be accountability policies that go along with the rules and fiscal responsibility policies or people will not take individual responsibility. Individual responsibility is very easily lost in a large organization like a Utah state government for example or an attorney law firm, and when people don't take individual responsibility then there is no purpose in making rules to follow for fiscal responsibility.
