I know I didn't, back when I first started to suffer from eczema. The problem for me was that I was just given some cream to use on my eczema, without any explanation as to what had caused it in the first place.

Eczema and diet are linked because the quality of the food you put into your body can have a direct influence on the quality of the skin. Much of the food we eat today is low in nutritional value, because of the convenient processed nature of it.

When the body is starved of the nutrients it needs it will struggle to perform some vital functions, including the disease fighting functions of the immune system. When the immune system is not given the fuel it needs to function at 100%, conditions like eczema are often left to run rampant.

With this link between eczema and diet established, you should be able to make the right changes to help your body fight the condition on the inside. Whilst taking vitamins and other supplements can help, the best way to put these nutrients into your body is via your diet.
